What is sexual performance anxiety?
Sexual performance anxiety refers to the difficulty relaxing and being present during intimacy due to worry, pressure, or self-doubt. It can affect both men and women, although it may appear in different ways.
Men experiencing performance anxiety may have difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection, often related to stress or overthinking. Women may experience difficulty relaxing, connecting emotionally with their partner, or experiencing pleasure or climax.
In many cases the underlying issue is mental tension and excessive self-monitoring — being overly focused on performance instead of being present in the moment. Thoughts such as “What if something goes wrong?” or “Am I doing this right?” can interrupt the body’s natural responses.

Sexual performance anxiety often appears as a pattern of mental pressure and physical tension during intimacy. Some common signs include:
• difficulty relaxing during sexual activity
• overthinking or monitoring your performance

How many hypnosis sessions are needed?
For many clients, two hypnosis sessions are recommended to help reinforce the new mental patterns and build lasting confidence.
Both sessions are recorded so you can continue practicing with the hypnosis audio afterward.
